Phase 1
In the first weeks of treatment, you will begin mastering daily cognitive and behavioral skills. Your focus will be self-regulation and soothing to reduce overall physiological arousal.
You will begin learning concrete communication skills in week two that may fundamentally change how you think relationships work effectively. You’ll begin fostering repair and emotional validation, setting the stage for more complicated work later in this program.
Phase 2
After reducing negative sentiment and starting to supercharge their fondness + admiration system, couples will focus on starting the most consequential conversations of therapy.
Couples learn the conversational structure and rituals of connection around each other’s core needs, dreams, and fears. Couples affirm their shared beliefs, ethics, and morals.
