Supporting the Mental Health Needs of Veterans – MSPP Gala

I am an issues advocate. My energy has predominately focused on raising awareness and support for the mental health needs of our veterans. I have also been engaged in advocating for increased support for training mental health professionals. I served as Past-Chair of the Advocacy Coordinating Team (ACT) of the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS). I’m also engaged in community outreach regarding the psychological well-being of our uniformed services and veterans.

Most recently, I was appointed Program Coordinator for MSPP’s Train Vets to Treat Vets Program, an innovative collaboration between the Massachusetts Department of Veterans Services and MSPP that will train Veterans as mental health providers to treat their fellow Veterans.
